Casa Federico is a holiday home for people who are looking for nature and silence. Here you can here the sound of the birds, the bees and the crickets.
Enjoy the view, the sea view, the sunset and at night thousands of stars.
Casa Federico has many extras: a swimming pool, several terraces, satellite TV/Radio, a spacious roof terrace, a barbecue area and a bodega.
From the house you can walk directly into the almond groves and pine forests.

Casa Federico is situated just below the village of Puntagorda at ±640M above sea level and offers sleeping accommodation for 1 or 2 persons. Shops and restaurants are on walking distance.

Outside

The swimming pool you can reache via the garden and a small ramp.

The pool is filled with clear water from the mountains (no chlorine) is 2 meters deep and can be used between May and December.

The swimming pool has its own terrace with garden furniture, sunbeds and parasol.

From the roof terrace you have stunning views over the area, up to the mountains and down to the Atlantic Ocean.

There is a sitting area, garden furniture, sunbeds and a parasol.

In front of Casa Federico is a sheltered and partly covered terrace. There are a table and chairs and a parasol.

On this side there are no direct neighbours so this terrace is has privacy as well as a beautiful view of de garden and the trees beyond.

Accommodation

Casa Federico has a living room/bed room/kitchen, a bathroom and an enclosed glass patio.

In the living room / bed room is a double bed with 2 separate matrasses of good quality to help you enjoy a good nights sleep during your holiday.
There is satelite TV/radio and a radio-cassette player.

In the kitchen you will find a 4 hobs gascooker, coffee machine and the refrigerator is very very quiet!! There is a breakfast bar with stools and a good selection of kitchen utensils

The bathroom has a shower, washbasin, wc and bidet.

There are 3 steps up to the enclosed glass patio. The patio catches the warmth of sun is almost always warm during the day. Here you have a good view over the garden and sea view. The sliding glass doors lead to the terrace and the garden. You will find a table and chairs and two comfortable chairs. There are no direct neighbours.

Position

Casa Federico stands at the end of a dead end road with only a walking path leading to the woods below.

The owners house is on the same land on the opposite side of the lane but the living area and terraces of Casa Federico cannot be seen from their house.

Area

Puntagorda is one of the most beautiful areas of La Palma, is in the north-west of the island and about 1,5 hours drive from the airport.
Puntagorda has various shops, a dispensing chemist, butcher, banks with cash dispensers, a post office, restaurants, typical local bars and on Saturdays and Sundays there is a market in the Mercadillo selling local produce.
In January the almond trees start flowering in Puntagorda. Every year, at the end of January or beginning of February, Puntagorda celebrates the Festival of the Flowering Almond.
The area around Puntagorda is a must for nature lovers. There are many and varied walking paths, view points, some old windmils and El Fayal, a beautiful pine forest with barbecue and picnic area and childrens playground.
El Puerto has access to the sea. There is no beach, but in the summer months you can swim in the ocean.
Puntagorda is ideally situated for trips to the north of La Palma and the highest point of the island Roque de Los Muchachos.
It is ±45 minutes drive to the town of Los Llanos with the famous Plaza de España and the beautiful streets and houses. The sandy beach at Tazacorte is a ±35 minutes drive.
